Submitting your own artwork
Customers who provide their own artwork are fully responsible for the end result of printing.
Customers are reminded to submit print-ready artwork with the correct specifications as
outlined. We will print whatever you submit, and we are not responsible for artwork mistakes.
Filetypes and Resolution
Our preferred format for printing is PDF, other formats also acceptable include Vector EPS,
Adobe Illustrator AI files, Photoshop, TIFF or JPEG. Please ensure images are supplied at a
minimum of 300dpi for quality output.
Colours
Please note PMS or CMYK colours on your designs, we will endeavor to match your colours
correctly however not all printing process can match this exactly. We will advise this
accordingly. Save your images as CMYK, not RGB. The 4 colour printing process uses Cyan,
Magenta, Yellow, and Key (Black). RGB is strictly used for monitors/screens and therefore
the colour representation can be different when transferred to CMYK.
Unless you have a carefully calibrated monitor, go by numbers and colour swatches, not by
how the job looks on the screen!
Rich Black
Larger areas of black will print beautifully if a “rich black” is used. We suggest making a
new colour using 80C, 60M, 50Y, 100K.
Please note:
percentage of PMS colours should be avoided
Every colour output mechanism produces a different range of colours and the original image
that appears on your print devices, please be aware that material will each render the colour
differently from our output devices or materials

Fonts
Please make sure all fonts in artwork are converted to outlines or curves to ensure the correct
designs are created.
Pictures off the internet
Some customers provide us with images that have been downloaded from the internet, they
are generally low resolution images intended for viewing on a screen/monitor and not for
printing. These will always print out blurry and jagged. Customers please avoid using them as
this will reduce the quality of the print.
